Anchorseal
If you want to prevent checks in freshly cut wood you need anchorseal or some other sort of sealant. You can buy Anchorseal by the gallon from Dennis.
Turning Wood
Dennis is our go to guy for all kinds of turning wood. He is our club's wood meister. He usually has wood events 2 or 3 times a year. You can contact him any time if you need some wood for turning.
Sandpaper Discs
Most woodturners use 2" sanding discs. Dennis has a cutting jig that you can use to cut your discs from sheets of sandpaper or from larger discs for a nominal fee. It works out cheaper than buying pre-cut discs.
